Boutique Coordinator (Volunteer)
Location: Melbourne 

We are seeking a volunteer for the role of Melbourne Boutique Coordinator. This is an important role coordinating the donations and boutique to ensure that women experiencing disadvantage receive a high quality dressing service and assistance with interview preparation. The role coordinates the receiving and sorting of clothing donations and works with the Melbourne Programme Manager and highly motivated volunteers who deliver the dressing service.

Boutique volunteers (Minimum 4 hours per fortnight)
Location: Melbourne*, Sydney (Parramatta) & Morwell

*Please note, that in Melbourne restricted times only are available between the hours of 9am to 5pm. We also encourage you to attend the next Boutique Open night in Melbourne before applying. Details of the next event will be posted soon, so check back to make sure you register your interest. 

This role includes;

  • dressing clients in work-appropriate attire
  • offering advice on styling, grooming and hygiene
  • completing mock interviews with clients
  • sorting and preparing clothing donations.

Mentoring Roles for Transition to Work (TTW) Program available in Melbourne, Sydney and Morwell
Interested in becoming a mentor for clients in our TTW programs? You will be required to undertake training hours of up to 14 hours and be able to commit to two hours per fortnight with your mentee over 6 months. Please complete the application form and return it with your resume and email it to the following people.

Since 2005, Fitted for Work has transformed the lives of over 12,000 women.  As a not-for-profit organisation and the first of our kind in Australia, our mission is to help women experiencing disadvantage get work and keep it. We do this by providing free business clothing at our personal outfitting service and through our range of interview training, mentoring and transition to work programs.
