A chance to make a difference

Calling for volunteers to join Fitted for Work's Fundraising Group.

As a volunteer based service Fitted for Work is always looking for ideas to raise funds and ensure the ongoing viability of the service. This requires attracting people with the creativity and skills to turn good ideas into dollars that will assist more women receive the Fitted for Work service.

What we do:

We organise events and develop other fundraising avenues for Fitted for Work.  We are crucial to bringing in funds that are untied, that is money we can use to pay rent and salaries and all those absolutely essential and recurring items (think toilet paper) which philanthropic trusts and corporations (in general) do not find attractive to fund. Though now that I've thought toilet paper maybe we could get someone to donate a truckload but then where would we put it.  I digress.

We need you if:

- if you have ideas for fundraising

- are a good organiser

- are happy to help with particular events but do no want to be on a Committee

- have connections that may help us raise funds e.g at your workplace or through other networks you belong to.
