• Supporting and empowering long term unemployed and disadvantaged women become independent & self-sufficient.
• Enabling women to assist other women, contribute to society and gain satisfaction from doing so.
• Assisting to build a greater understanding of, and empathy with, the barriers that disadvantaged women face as they seek work.
• Working collaboratively with other organisations where there is a strong value alignment.

The Fitted for Work service began operating in Melbourne in July 2005 and is now available on the Mornington Peninsula.
