• Supporting and empowering long term unemployed and disadvantaged women become independent & self-sufficient.
• Enabling women to assist other women, contribute to society and gain satisfaction from doing so.
• Assisting to build a greater understanding of, and empathy with, the barriers that disadvantaged women face as they seek work.
• Working collaboratively with other organisations where there is a strong value alignment.

The Fitted for Work service began operating in Melbourne in July 2005 and is now available on the Mornington Peninsula, and will also be operational in Sydney SOON.
